Call to Order
Lisa Dommes called the meeting to order at 7:03 p.m., noting the presence of a quorum.

Approval of Minutes
Mr. DeMartz moved to approve the minutes of the January 16, 2021 Board of Directors meeting as submitted. Mr. Cridlin seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

Unfinished Business
Ms. Dommes provided an update on the status of the financial transition from the prior Treasurer.

Ms. Dommes reported that Mark Kenney is willing to continue to provide website and ToY points tracking services for 2021.

Mr. Cridlin moved to establish a Backyard Team of the Year Points Chase for 2021. Mr. Schriver seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

Mr. Cridlin moved to adopt the Backyard Team of the Year Rules as presented. Mr. Schriver seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

Ms. Dommes moved to transition to digital only National Barbecue News subscriptions for members in the interest of cost savings. Mr. Sydnor seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

The Board discussed the upcoming virtual Annual Meeting.

Committee Reports
Membership: Greg Boggs provided a membership report. The Board agreed that the membership fee is non-refundable. Required acknowledgement of that statement will be added to the membership form.

Publications: Chris Schriver provided statistics on responses to social media posts. The next newsletter should go out around March 17. Board members and other are welcome to submit content.

Finance: Bill Jones presented projected financial statistics for the year.

Ms. Dommes moved to create the Steak Sub-committee to the Membership Committee with Greg Boggs as Chair. Mr. Schriver seconded the motion and it carried unanimously.

Backyard Sub-committee: LaRee Fink
Publications: Jamie Fink
Finance: Bill Jones-Chair, Glenn Zobel

New Business
Ms. Dommes will forward the 2020 banquet costs to the Board for review.
